Good location. Easy connection to the city centre – by walk or tram. Friendly and helpful staff creating a nice atmosphere. Delicious breakfast. In general - good value for money.
Very narrow toilet inclusive shower. Shower bath direct next to toilet bowl.
it was OK, as expected, may go back some other time
I was only there one night (this time), cannot think on major improvements to suggest
Stuff was nice but that was only good thing.
Room was full of mold, i really mean full of, smelly, breakfast was unbelievable, toast was moldy, milk old.. And thats all what you can have.
very pleasant nice helpful staf
the price of parking
Within walking distance to all places of interest. Tram stopped outside. Nice and quite and very helpful staff
the staffs are very nice and supportive. when I ask them how to get the desination, they help search the route and also print the the map for me.
It was very noisy, the walls are very thin. The rooms very tiny for 10 beds and there was a lot of mold in the (otherwise pretty clean) shower.
Good location, small but nice rooms and very friendly personel
Bright artistic decor and welcoming foyer. Good location and access to tram stops. Good shower room and TV. Apologies given for not giving us ground floor room as requested. Fresh bread and quite good choice of breakfast food.
Beds are not too comfortable and pillow was hard. Fruit was not fresh and breakfast room was locked despite sign which said that there was access to drinks at all times. Stairs are very steep when carrying lugggage.
The staff at Sarphati Hotel were wonderfully helpful, especially as we were stuck in Amsterdam during the volcanic ashcloud situation. They very helpfully extended our stay to tide us over the period. Location is also good as there is a tram stop right outside the hotel and the park is right across the road. A couple of nice cafes are also round the corner.
Some of the rooms may be a bit small, but still clean and cosy nonetherless. The lack of elevators and steep staircases may be a problem for travellers carrying large suitcases.
The hotel is greatly located. The tram leads you to the Dam sq, and museums in 5 minutes.
Although, this hotel has been rated as two stars, you will be surprised by excellent services, cleaning, rooms design and friendly staff.
I like the location : the Sarphati Park opposite is very pleasant; it is within easy walking distance of the canal zone and the art museums; a vibrant market and cafe area is nearby (dePjip); trams stop outside the door. On a personal note, it is close to my relatives. i like the 24 hour access by swipe card.
I would like to have a kettle and drinks making facilities in the room.
kindess of the reception
small room in the roof, with toilet next/ in the shower. I had a front room .As it is at a mainroad their is a lot of noise
friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. inclusive breakfast,
TV signal was poor, not much space to set up a compter and do some work, some room redecoration would be good
